The Walking Poly
The Walking Poly is a rig a created in Houdini trying to create a procedural walk cycle for any given polygon objext. The main attribute keyed here is the distance of travel, and the polygon walks.
The polygon can swing, bounce, drag his legs, reach forward and all can be changed and keyd. Ramps control the feeling of the walk so many kinds of cycles can be created. If you have seen my walking cube rig, this time its created much more efficient and fast, using more VOPs. There is no path\upstairs\downstairs\walk sideways this time, that was not the challenge this time.
All the movements are mathematically correct with no driven keys or what so ever.
Created in ~4 days.
