GROWmesh Maya plugin
GROWmesh is a plugin for maya which lets you create awesome extrusions of meshes around curves. If you ever hated the included Maya extrude on curve, and paint effects to mesh wasn’t exactly helping, this is for you. Its loaded with possibilities I have never seen before and its been tested on large scale projects prior to release.
The video you see above was created with only three curves and the GROWmesh plugin, while all the keys and animation is done inside the GROWmesh node, and can be played in realtime on my stupid laptop, so i think its relatively fast.
Currently available for: Maya 2012/13 for windows x64.
If there will be a demand from nice people I will do my best to compile it for other systems.
